I keep a batch of grass-fed hamburger in the freezer at all times. My go-to way to cook this super-easy core protein is to start with three pounds of meat plus half of an onion, finely diced. Add a little salt and pepper, and brown on medium high.

What the heck is caveman slaw you ask? Good question! Caveman slaw is made up of a tasty paleo slaw that you can make in a huge batch on the weekend and then store it in the fridge. I eat this slaw by itself, or I toss a serving of grass-fed beef on it with some avocado. This combo gives you a healthy balance of macronutrients and is super filling. The slaw stores really well in the refrigerator all week, it stays crunchy and the flavor just gets better and better.
