There are so many things that I love about this pudding.
First of all, I’m in love with chia pudding. I’d been wanting to make a spiced chai latte version for a while.

Then Vital Proteins® reached out to ask if we would be interested in doing some recipes with their Collagen Peptides. Inspiration hit and chai latte chia pudding with collagen peptide supplement was born. With my sample of the unflavored grass fed collagen peptides in hand, I went to work on creating an easy chia pudding recipe.
Chia Pudding is Easy to Make
This chai latte flavor of chia pudding is basically a vanilla chia seed pudding that is spiced with a really strong brew of chai tea. I also used coconut milk in this recipe because I love the subtle flavor of coconut and the chai spices together. Honey is used to sweeten this pudding just a touch. Chia Seeds add healthy fiber and protein, plus Omega-3’s to this recipe. The vital protein collagen peptides turn this creamy dreamy cup of deliciousness into a high protein chia seed pudding that also contains a powerhouse of gut healing benefits.
The unflavored version of collagen peptides is a perfect match for chia seed pudding recipe because the flavor is virtually undetectable and there is no change the texture of the pudding. I’m a foodie and have a really good sense of taste. I can taste a mild protein flavor when I add this supplement to plain water. However that being said, it’s not off-putting at all. In this chia pudding recipe, you will have no idea that it has been added.
Want to try another chia pudding recipe?
I love chia pudding so much that I also have two other recipes for puddings that are made with chia seeds. I highly recommend checking them out. Dark Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding and Fresh Strawberry and Cream Chia Seed Pudding.
Vital Proteins® collagen peptides come in several different flavors. Including dark chocolate blackberry flavor and now a matcha flavor that I cannot wait to try. The chocolate blackberry flavor would be a great addition to the easy and super quick chocolate chia pudding.

What are the benefits of collagen peptides, you ask?
If you have been thinking what is collagen protein good for anyway, I’ve got your back.
Collagen protein is great for your connective tissue.
I can tell a huge difference in my joint flexibility when I am supplementing with collagen peptides. Being in my 40’s and lifting a lot of heavy things, I need all the help I can get. Joint health is so important for mobility and we lose strength and flexibility as we age. Supplementation can help to slow this down. Think of it as mobility insurance.
Collagen is also one of the building blocks for strong hair, skin, and fingernails.
Collagen comes from connective tissue that has been broken down in the cooking process; for instance when you roast a whole chicken or cook a bone-in steak. This is why bone broth is so good for you. Bone broth contains minerals and other nutrients that support your immune system function. Make sure to get my super easy bone broth recipe.
Nowadays a lot of us cook with boneless, skinless chicken. While this is a great source of lean protein, cooking this way causes us to miss out on the nutrient-rich collagen that comes from the connective tissue.
Collagen is also specifically known to heal your gut lining and reduce inflammation.
Bone broth should be a daily supplement. But if you don’t have any in the fridge or freezer like I do supplements can make a convenient and easy to include substitution. Plus, with so many amazing flavors and even collagen coffee creamer, you have no excuses! Get your collagen protein and start reaping the benefits today.
Now that you know how amazing collagen proteins are for you, you are probably asking where can I buy collagen peptides. I have you covered here too! You can head over to my shop and find the link to the unflavored version of collagen peptides or if you want to the dark chocolate blackberry flavor or the matcha flavor you can grab them by clicking the links.
